Local Mission Sunday
Every year we celebrate and highlight our local partners during our Local Mission Sunday.
Our Local Partners
International Friends is a ministry that connects Holy Trinity families and individuals with international students studying in our area, offering friendship, hospitality, and the love of Christ to people far from home.
The group gathers every Wednesday evening for fellowship and Bible study. Many of these students come from nations where the gospel is rarely heard, making this one of the most accessible and strategic mission opportunities available to us.
For the Nations DC is a ministry serving English language learners and their children in the Washington, DC, area.
We teach English to adults three days per week and love engaging with students outside of class, whether it is sharing a meal or helping them navigate life in the United States.
We unashamedly proclaim the gospel as the only hope of healing for the brokenness we all experience.
Passionate about the impact of literacy, Pastor Kevin Turpin’s vision is to enrich the lives of underserved children and families in Fairfax County and throughout Virginia.
The LEC provides literacy tutoring to elementary students from Title I schools who are reading below their grade level.
Students receive one-to-one tutoring for 1 to 2 hours weekly.
Project Belong & DOon’t Go Alone
Don't Go Alone is a Project Belong VA program that connects young adults aging out of foster care (ages 18–24) with Mentoring Adults and Mentoring Families who commit to walking with them through the early, formative years of independent life.
Through a simple onboarding process of orientation, training, and thoughtful matching, mentors step into the story of a young adult's life with consistency, care, and the kind of lifelong connection that changes trajectories. Everyone deserves someone — and Don't Go Alone invites you to be that someone.
The Lamb Center is a daytime drop-in shelter for individuals who are experiencing homelessness in Fairfax, Virginia.
Our mission is to live out the compassionate heart of Christ by serving our neighbors experiencing homelessness.
The core values of Christianity are central to the Lamb Center's ministry.
Reset180 is a local Christian nonprofit working right here in Northern Virginia, in Loudoun, Fairfax, Arlington, and Alexandria, to prevent, disrupt, and restore lives affected by human trafficking.
Through community education, outreach teams, and trauma-informed case management, they address modern-day slavery at every level: equipping people to recognize it, intervening to stop it, and walking survivors toward stability and freedom.
If you've ever wondered how the church responds to one of the darkest injustices in our own backyard, Reset180 is the answer.
