Walking Confidently in the Power of Grace

Then Moses went up to God, and the Lord called to him from the mountain and said, “This is what you are to say to the descendants of Jacob and what you are to tell the people of Israel:  ‘You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.

Exodus 19:3-4

Grace is God’s unmerited blessing, favor, goodness, mercy, and kindness expressed through His Son Jesus and His death and resurrection that we may enjoy new life in Him and live empowered for Him.

“Except for the grace of God, there go I.”

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace 8 that he lavished on us.

Ephesians 1:7-8a

Sustaining Grace: The grace of God carries you in every moment of life--the good ones, the bad ones, and the difficult ones. 

8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

Surmounting Grace: The grace of God empowers you to live life to the full in Him and fulfill your purpose given by Him.  

17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
